People often ask me, “does hypnosis really work for weight loss?”
They tell me that they’ve tried everything and they just can’t seem to lose some unwanted weight. Or, if they can, they can’t maintain it.
My answer is YES. Hypnosis is very effective for weight loss.
Hypnosis can help, it does help, and it will help you. But there’s one requirement – and that is that you are ready. There is no change without change. There has to be a willingness and an accountability, and that process begins with you.

I’ve worked for over 30 years in clinical nutrition therapy as a registered dietitian. I’m also a holistic ayurvedic practitioner, hypnotherapist, and NLP practitioner.
Aside from those people who have pre-existing health conditions that require sometimes the addition or elimination of particular foods, I would say, generally speaking, diets for controlling weight just don’t work.
There’s so many diets out there and if they worked, there wouldn’t be a constant surge of new ones being produced every year.
The real reason most people over-eat is due to emotions. We cope using food to cover sadness, stress, anxiety… We also use food for positive celebrations – birthdays, graduations, weddings… This all leads to unhealthy relationships with food.
